Boats are unusually shaped, surprisingly fragile and need experienced handling on the road. Transport Anything 247 provides dedicated boat transport across the UK on flatbed or low-loader transporters with experienced operators who understand the difference between a cradle, a saddle and a sling.
Most boats up to about 30 feet ride on their existing trailer and travel on our flatbed transporters. Larger hulls travel on dedicated low-loaders with cradles or supports built up to match the hull profile. Narrowboats and barges are moved as oversize loads with appropriate escort arrangements. RIBs, speedboats, sailing dinghies and jet-skis are quick straightforward jobs. Yachts and motorboats with masts down ride on flatbeds; masts off require coordination with the marina. All boats are covered by our goods-in-transit insurance, and we will gladly liaise with your marina or boatyard on access and crane requirements.

Only very small dinghies are transported with the mast up. Larger yachts need the mast unstepped before road transport — we can coordinate with your marina on timing and crane access, but the mast unstep itself is normally booked directly with the marina.
Yes. Narrowboats are moved on dedicated low-loaders, often as oversize loads which require route planning and possibly escort vehicles. Quotes for narrowboats are confirmed manually after you submit details — please include the length, beam and current location.
Goods-in-transit insurance is included on every booking. For boats above £50,000 in value we recommend you confirm your existing hull insurance also covers road transport — most policies do, but it is worth checking.
Same-day collections are available across all major UK metropolitan areas, subject to driver availability at the time you book. For most jobs in standard working hours we can have a driver to you within two to four hours.
